Perched amidst the pristine pine trees and mountain tops of Southern Utah, Eagle Point Resort offers the kind of laid back, intimate experience that is so often missing in ski resorts.

Eagle Point, ideally located around a 3 hour drive from both Las Vegas and Salt Lake City, is committed to distinguishing itself by prioritizing the visitor and owner experience. It’s with these goals in mind, that we are actively collaborating on the future of this landmark resort.


A Solution

From the beginning of our work at Eagle Point, it became clear that common, existing lodging solutions alone were not sufficient for this project. A slightly off beat but attractive solution is that of small standalone units, ones with thoughtful design touches as their intended audience. Using such units in this type of setting not only be in keeping with Eagle Point’s charter of “prioritizing the visitor and owner experience”, but actually expand upon it.

With travelers expecting more individualized experiences, as well as lower point-of-entry options, the flexibility that small units afford is unmatched.


 
 

A Collaboration

Located just an hour and a half drive away from Eagle Point, Zip Kit Homes have been pioneers and champions of panelized kit homes. With decades of experience in construction, their work has been featured in Builder Magazine, and Dwell. Partnering with such a knowledgeable team has allowed the design process to remain nimble, thus reacting to the specific needs that come with building in such a unique site. The same holds true for design details and features that will enhance the visitor experience.
