The Dandy Horse Ranch is a Public Private Partnership proposal for a bicycle-centric community development in response to Boulder City Nevada’s request to reimagine the old city airport.

The Site

Home of the Hoover Dam, Boulder City has long been a destination for bicycle enthusiast because of it’s proximity to Lake Mead and the world famous mountain bike trails of Bootleg Canyon. The 52 acre proposal envisions modern mobile housing and hospitality elements anchored by a historic hanger reinvented as an event space. The project would preserve the sites rich history, bring new visitors to Boulder City and address a growing demand for attainable housing.
